and so we blast off another rocket into space
with a telescope to see more closely
\'things\' about the big bang origins of the universe
\'things\' which most of us don\'t understand
nor frankly really care about
so how relevant is that rocket to our everyday lives?
some interesting questions come to mind
in these days of attempting to halt climate change
how many \'average cars worth\' of carbon emissions
did that rocket put into our polluted atmosphere?
In times of climate change where investments can
bring major changes to lives how can we globally
spend billions on rockets and telescopes which
will provide us with some \'not very useful\' information
and maybe some pretty picture in a few months time
if it actually works
Are political leaders just posturing over regulations
to control climate change when such \'lunacy\' prevails
