Know, that it’s not ever
What is said
or
How it is, said
that matters, the most
instead, it has always been
Who, is saying it
making that decisive, impact;
if, you care
if you really, need
to make a difference
and have someone, heed
your words
then become: the Who
they’re waiting to hear from
that, Who
people can count on
to pierce through their shell
and offer
their horizon’s, bleak tunnel
a speck of hope to step towards.
Surviving, is just our beginning in life
once you get yourself, sorted
that’s
when you get to really see
just how much work, needs to be done.
So grow, strong
and become that person
you have it in you, to be
and strive
to help someone else, unlock
their, repressed superpowers.
Come, my fellow survivors
there’s so much work to be done
so much healing
so much doing, and
so few
Who care enough
or are capable, enough
to offer that quintessential
helping hand;
let us grow strong, together
and build a legacy, worthy
of that ‘Who’, we’ve each
laboured: to become!
