THE MAN WHO CAN\'T LAUGH

He who shall not be named,
Once known for his acclaimed fame,
Resides in the clutches of political game,
Pleading his laughter be returned and
put an end to shame.

Laughing was his only sin,
His throat slit and fed to his kin,
Oppressors with a barbaric grin,
Prepared to execute him in Berlin.

The crowd gathered to witness his rape,
His innocence distorted and used as political bait,
People spat on him with absolute hate,
Not knowing that they shared the same fate.

Dedicated to all and none,
