You were my rock the one who Understood me when nobody else ever Could, You lit up my path in the dark of night You were my guiding Light that always Shone so bright, keeping me warm and Safe and tightly you held my hand To show me the way to help me Stand. You have been more than a friend could ever be You were always there for me in my hour of need And comforted me in word and deed.
