Once I touched you
On a cold tonight
Just like so many so long ago
And you and I were one
Completely uncovered
Yet beneath blankets
Under so many stars
Oh, how you held me
Close as if I were
Your every breath
In a universe where
Every dream comes true.
I felt your smoothness
Skin so luminous
Lips so warm
Tender and delicious
Like your breasts
And pink pert nipples
Eagerly standing stiff
As butterflies
Fluttered inside your navel
Quivering
In my mouth
And we had no care
None beyond our bed.
We made magic
Turn into a warm oasis
Sweat from lustrous bodies
Glistening us
I felt your hair
Beneath mine
Your legs open as wings
Giving me all of you
The feelings
You kept only for me
This personal secret
This wonder
Only I know so well.
Our lust made us one
And love shaped
A sensuous twosome
The definition of
Pure pleasure
This night that seemed
To play Chopin
As if for the first time
Over and over
As you moved with me
Undulating melody
Imitating the nocturne
Filling our ears
Between moans
In the night.
I tasted you
You devoured me
And I moved in you
So slow and deep
As only a river could
Under the ice
We came furiously
And again and
Oh so again as we cried
Our tears of ecstasy
Writing poetry
And carnal verses
All through the night.
Our afterglow
Illuminating quietly
Gave us a gift
Wonder blossomed
Lotus-like in a way
Reminiscent of
Effervescent champagne
Bubbles lifting gently
We were so naked
Souls so nude
Sex was too inadequate
To describe what we shared.
We were innocent
And the angels
Called us love.
