Time keeps digging you a deeper grave.
I know you can\'t see the gray like I do.
We could never battle on the same side.
They say I should keep you six feet under.
I keep shoveling you out of your grave.
I know I should put the shovel down.
I am in battle to the ticking of time.
I know I can\'t win that battle alone.
It\'s time I covered you with gray.
I\'ve traded the shovel for a pen.
I wrote our eulogy today.
