Departure

Departure is how you say goodbye

Leaving me now in black silence

The entrails of a poisonous phrase

Meant to deceive me

And surrender my heart

Lie in so many millions of pieces

As echoes of you fade

With every heartache you leave.

The face of a thousand unseen lies

You spelled with my indignity

Frames the horror you made

A fairy tale picture in ruins

The summer lover you feigned

Burns the chaff of emptiness off

I have rediscovered life

After ashes of your yellow soul.
