War of the West

Oh how painful it is, Mother will weep

For her dear darlings is at war, How saddened she must be

Why can’t her darlings get along, They are family after-all

Born of the same mother, But fought like enemies far away

Why can’t there be peace, So Mother can be at rest

Would she scold them, I dare not say

Only she would know, I fear the worst if she does

Her darlings won’t take it, Not if she is the one

The one that shall do the deeds, The one that shall put an end

Oh only if she was here, This may be possible

For such war can be avoided, If only they can get along

Why can’t they, Isn’t that Mother’s final wish

Born together, Yet they aren’t the same

Why is it this way, Is war really inevitable
