Freedom is the word you know little of.
Never having been free to choose.
In a cradle of convention
When you know no other way

Life becomes a bore.
So you spend your time adoring
The wrong things,
hoping
Nobody will notice.
And when the doors are closed,
You begin the muse.
And find the way
To being you.

Lost amongst the normal,
You deny the truth.
Hiding in plain sight,
like a mind abused.
Watching from the side lines,
Agreeing with the group.
Hoping no one will notice
The lie inside of you.

And when you cant deny it,
Still you hide the truth.
Away from the prying eyes,
You discover the butterfly,
Inside the cocoon.

Afraid of the thing you\'ve
Become,
You slash at that part of you
to remove that part of you
Undeniable truth.
And you become.

Unwilling,  unforgiving,
Ungiving, unbeing.
All the conversations are
Meaningless.
For your heart is
deserving of the truth.
And just denying
No longer denying
The truth.

Breaking the Barriers of convention

You know the heart inside of you.
You are the truth inside of you.
And the heart inside
Emerging like a butterfly
Brings the heart of truth.

You need to show the feelings
Though.
The thought is part of you.
No longer denying, you
Depart from the lies
Freedom to choose.
The forbidden fruit

And with the freedom
comes a new recruit
A new sort of everything,
A new understanding.
Acceptance is the truth.
Inside of you.
