Where have I been?

Where have I been you may wonder.

No, really, where the fuck have I been?

Turning myself into a future war criminal I\'d answer.

I have learnt many things, yes I have.

I have learnt about projectile motion in about 4 different classes. The examples sometimes have to do with someone kicking a ball off a cliff, sometimes they have to do with firing a cannon with initial velocity v0, at a 30 degree angle over a raised surface, distance h above ground, determine how long will it be before it reaches the ground?

Basics physics, yes, very convenient physics, yes.

Whoever James Clerk Maxwell was, it was brilliant of him to correlate electricity and magnetism. I don\'t know much about who he was, or what he believed in. I just know that you can use electromagnetic force to shoot massive things at a high speed and over a long distance (they call that thing a railgun cannon).

I have learnt to design things in Fusion 360.

Innocent things, like a 3D design of the Mars Rover Perseverance.

You see, what evils could we humans possibly conjecture in our hurried race to space colonization?

Us?

Us little angels.

And what\'s next, will I do a solo project designing a drone so that I can get a better chance at landing that internship with Raytheon or with Lockheed Martin?

They teach me solids and dynamics, and I wonder if they want me to learn all this information because they want me to make strong, long lasting buildings and bridges, or because they want me to know their structural weaknesses when the time comes to destroy them.

Be an engineer you immigrant child, and your family will be happy!

Work for National Defense and your country will be happy.

Help it, feed it, nurture it, the war machine!

Follow the money, I guess that\'s where I\'ve been.

Fuck it, I just despise how normal it is for someone in the faculty of engineering to interview for those building the suffering in Yemen, or in Palestine, or Syria.

I don\'t want to be a fucking war criminal and that\'s all.
