I wish I was joyful and free
With open wings to favor my flee
Like a diamond dove in the wild
So strong, with a persona unrivaled
Eternally ceaseless, with a will unleashed
Flying far and wide to the places I wished
Steering my wings between sunbeams & trees
Graceful and swift, so much at peace
I\'d never look down unto trivials I hate
While I tread on like a bold eagle after bait
Gliding for long hours in the wind & drizzle
Those tiny raindrops on my feathers, they\'d dazzle
Gazing in amazement at the multi-hued rainbow
I\'d slither into panoramic hills capped with snow
I would unfurl amidst the ocean-sky unison
Swerving into the vastness of an absolute horizon
Smelling the scent of mellowed zephyr
Across a sprawling pinnacle, I\'d aimlessly wander
Pretty skies transform from sapphire to golden
And the silvery clouds liberate me as a bullet from the gun
I sigh, I smile at nature\'s zest
Being thankful for a fleeting sight of night\'s best
How I wish I was free
