Instructed Freedom

Freedom was all I ever wanted,

But then you chose yourself for me to depend.

You leaded the way and marked the path,

A direction that which I\'ll never pass.

I followed orders and every command,

Cause if I don\'t, I would be banned.

Though I fail your way sometimes,

But believe me, I hardly tried.

Accepting what was given by your choice,

You really thought that I would rejoice.

A little happiness  to a part of me,

But not completely because I\'m not free.

I was totally confused and messed up,

Got so tired cause I\'ve had enough.

You gave me the life I never needed,

Full of hardships and couldn\'t beat it.

I felt stupid during times of falls,

Blaming you when about to crawl.

I feared you way of life,

Acting cruel like you\'re holding a knife.

It was difficult for me to say a word,

Cause you would always jump out to disturb.

I couldn\'t speak and stand up for myself,

Coming out of a box would be a 100 bounds.

Silence and Patience became my lifestyles,

A source of armor to fight the trial.

Anger covered the blindness from within,

But don\'t worry, I believe that by your way I\'ll win.
