i listened to a robin sing his robin song
on my garden fence as he bobbed along
such a lovely song with everynote in tune
took my heart away as he began to croon
with his big red breast gleaming in the sun
happy as can be having so much fun
made me feel so happy made me feel so gay
i wont forget his song he sang to me that day
i will keep the memory of his robin song
that he sang to me as he bobbed along
hope he will return sing to me once more
melt my heart away like he did before
