DARKNESS

Heavy raindrop sound,

Amplify hearts in delight,

Nuzzling eardrums,

Sways to melody around,

Induce smiles,

Like toothless newborns.

She relished the drizzle,

Not the concurrent gales.

As the Shadows arrived,

A well-known; dread surfaced.

Thunder and lightning,

Carried Goosebumps along.

Shudders steered the veins,

Commenced; A chase,

For little breaths,

Commanding a heartbeat,

Forcing her to prolong.

I wonder; who they are.

Why are they here?

The endless anguish,

Assembles me,

Like a show to look at;

The dread, The apprehension,

The unbelief, and the foreboding,

Fortify it even more.

As the darkness engulfs the thought,

Battle for breath begins.

Conquered by the feel,

Behests to omit a heartbeat,

For the longing relief.

Breathing a shadow,

Blending with darkness.

Twining with the skies,

It is me, or it\'s in me.

At the point of mandate,

A question arises; why should I abide?

Still an inviting step towards longing,

Compel me to endure.

On the brink of limen, that\'s when it retains.

Warning me to be prepared,

For which breeds every single time.

Nevertheless,

I quest to suffice for this hunger,

While itching for someone,

Ordering to disobey,

Waiting for me to outlive,

When the only thing I wanted,

To be left in darkness,

But, truth be told,

It is the only thing; I\'m afraid of,

Wondering; why be darkness there?

The only thing; she was afraid.

Though no pleas; satisfy her heart.

Accept it as; Nature\'s way.

Will it be the only alternative left?
