Only Goodnight

Goodnight...

A simple word I can say right.

Because we are miles apart.

I pray for your safety as you sleep,

And protects you from anything that creeps.

Gives you a stronghold of protection,

Because you are there to give medication.

I wanted to say more than goodnight,

But I don\'t know what word would sound right.

I\'m afraid I might say the wrong words.

And make you feel worst.

I just want to make you feel better,

So I am writing you this letter.

Again saying goodnight and sweet dreams to you,

Is something wonderful to do.
