ABAGA\'IDU

Darkness has visited men
In a broad day light
The sun is sleeping and snoring
The weather has changed its face.

The Kwararafa Kingdom
Is awake,
Though the news has traveled
Far and near.

Who are we to question
Our ancestors?
They laid the foundation
Of the kingdom.

They built the Five Pillars
With brooms,
Through which frenemies
Pay homage to the throne.

Though sad news has visited us
That you have traveled
For an Ancestral Feast,
The journey is too sudden.

Many are weeping in solitude
Some are playing their flutes
Weeping and singing echo
In the kingdom.

In deep sleep,
You live forever,
A legend of blissful memory
Your reign is ever green.

Decades will your footprints stand
And your tales will be told,
To many generations,
The reign of Aku kuvyon II.

On this sojourn journey
Present our plights to Cidon
That our walls are porous,
Frenemies have surrounded
The Jerusalem Annex.

We need more Angels
Since Christianity has taken over
Cultures and traditions
Are weeping,
No one to whisper to the gods.

Who are we to question Cidon?
He knows the end from the beginning
Lions will regroup for revival,
Jerusalem Annex will never fall.
