Rare it would be
For an aging man
To love one woman for all but
The first ten years of his life
Most will say it’s sad
To live a life alone
Some will understand
How he feels for this lady
And a certain few
Would give anything
To be that man
Still, this aging man
Alone as he is
His heart bears the smile
The smile of an Angel
He had there in his life
