Crystal Hope

drowning in deep blue

drowning in deep blue,
swimming over gray waves.
crumbling over the debris
I struggled to save,
but
I struggled for no cause.
I\'m drowning in the hollow.
saltwater lies are a bitter
pill to swallow.
carrying
dead weight over my back
crashing over molten rocks.
I\'m unraveling like white roses
twisted into arrows of a broken clock.
silence
filters in the bottles my bloody hands
lift and pollute the waters of cobalt.
sinking ships burden me down
as I drown in my cryptic fault.
