Young and impressionable
As any child can be
When a child learns to smile
‘Tis certainly a pleasure to see
To be worthy of a smile
Would take a special event
A reaction of the brain
Triggered from the heart, it’s sent
And when suddenly a young boy
Sees a pretty girl’s face
He’s on uncharted ground
Taken to a far off place
A place not of physical locale
But that of a euphoric state
Hypnotic attraction takes control
The quickening of heartrate
A never before known emotion
To cause the boy to be so ecstatic
Smiles at sight of her
Unknowingly automatic
This is how it begins
Gifts from stars above
With infectious smiles
A boy learns of love
