The Past Unto Itself by Peyton Kostadinovic

Past has a sorry way of talking. This and

That, is making it hard to live this life

But the life before had me runnin’ for

My money which isn’t ideal. All I had was me,

Myself, and I which wasn’t too good. Ain’t

Allowed to live my desired life. Where I’ve been

Is not where I am now thanks to no

One but the precious voice of Past, who granted me a crystal

Made of my memories that made me. But it has also allowed me to climb Past’s stair
