Rain Girl

She\'s dreaming of peace by the summer solstice,

All the while nurturing the atmosphere.

She\'s yearning for snow by the mirrored moon,

In her kindness; lamenting the time of year.

She coats the stars in beaming light

While praying to the dark,

And every day she sees the end

Yet holds out hope for the new.

She sits alone on the ledge of eternity,

Waiting for beginning\'s due.

Little rain girl, clutching Pluto,

Getting lost in shades of blue.

Little rain girl, overlooking life -

Longing for rain in June.
