Saxon Crow

As The Winds Were Blowing

I dreamed a dream

Of my love last night

She came to me

All dressed in white

She touched my cheek

And began to cry

As the winds were blowing

And in this dream

She did sing to me

Of the love she had

As real can be

And then she smiled

Tears in her eyes

As the winds were blowing

And when I woke

To my surprise

My love was not

Resting by my side

And what was left

Were my lovers tears

As the winds were blowing

I searched so far

So far and wide

Across the hills

Over mountain side

But she had gone

And all I heard

Were the winds still blowing

But when I sleep

I see her walking

Between the moon

And morning light

And when I\'m quiet

I can hear her calling

As the winds are blowing

And when I\'m quiet

I can hear her calling

As the winds are blowing
