In spite of my efforts to hold back the
revealing light of day,
the sun rises.
Regardless of my regrets about yesterday
or my fears of this day,
light comes.
In spite of my despair or deep disappointment
about humanity\'s addiction to violence,
morning dawns.
Ready of not. Willing or not. Prepared or not
the sunlight of morning dawns and
with it possibilities, choices for
creativity or catastrophe,
the dilemma of the
day.
