The righteous call, and the Lord hears
Them, and them saves, to them He nears
Saves them out of their troubles all
And lifts them up when they do fall
The Lord is night to them that be

In spirit, and too from many
Afflictions the Lord does them free
He keeps the righteous, they be
But the evil desolately
