with light\'s lacy fingers weaving
thin lines on a shimmering lake.
Tonight diaphanous curl of filmy
essence spreads tiffany dew
among bank\'s swirling shallows
of twilight translucence.
Mist covers blue but above hangs
gauzy lantern of sickle-shaped
Luna\'s blinkered performance
attempting to flicker again.
Glow drifts and unreal entrances
as rippling water plays host
to filigree sunset shining its last
before night closes the show.
