I stare outside of my lonely home,
and see the neighbours I’ve always known.
Their garden filled with the colours of dreams,
for I wish to have such a garden that gleams.
But every time I try,
The flowers always die.
I have a basket of seeds for every flower I know,
yet neither flower decides to grow.
The neighbours water their flowers every day,
and I have done just the same.
Their flowers seem so happy and bright in their yard,
but mine will never change.
The neighbours laugh happily outside of their home,
but I just stay inside and observe them alone.
For I wish to have such nice flowers like theirs.
