Within my cave I wait to be saved
It is dark and lonely within my cave
I hear voices whisper from my long ago
Haunting echoes of people I use to know
Within my cave no one hears my cries
It is damp from salty tears from my eyes
Cannot drown my sorrows they are drowning me
One day soon I will find a way to set them free
Have tried to leave from within my cave
Only to be pushed back by a tidal wave
From a loveless heart and a misunderstanding
Back within my cave where I have been abandoned
