The Boring Holidays

The world went down,

And the heart-beats up

We stayed at home,

and enjoyed family’s lub-dub.

The first few days, were so fictional,

We played a lot, and loved to go digital.

After a month, life took one-eighty,

What once was joy, became so shady.

Increased screen time, made my eyes cry ,

A guy so social, became so shy.

Parks and friends, went so far,

Even the long drives, in my car.

Playing video games, once was fun,

But honestly speaking, now I am done.

Finally worked, on developing my skill,

Thanks to my parents, for adding that thrill.

Then I was excited, for every new event,

Learnt every day, some new content.

Online schooling, was going fine,

But I wanted to go to school, to outshine.

Missed my school, and my buddies,

There’s definitely life, beside studies.

Eventually my dream, had come true,

And the school re-opened, for the memorable rendezvous.

It was only month and a half, that we enjoyed our school,

And the vacations started, pretty uncool.

Wishing for the good days, to come back soon,

Hoping to hug my friends and again sing in tune.
