Celestellar

Unbinding

You were like split-ends of my hair—
I needed to cut off myself.
Your presence serves as the wall
Hinders me from seeing myself in the mirror

You gave me roses
Without knowing you had let thorns stay on it
Granted me the chance to swallow my own pride
Robbed the inner me to experience the beauty of love

I have been mistaken about the idea
Thought it would always be exuberant
But, perhaps, being in love could be
The saddest place in this world

Now, farewell, to the pain
And to the moments you had left me alone, even when we\'re together
I will slowly surrender these pieces of baggage
And then happily let go of you
