Early mornings awaken from a deep slumber
Shower is taken, Personal hygienes are complete with no time to spare
Dressed and ready for Church with, family right on time
Mother is praying, father waiting for breakfast to be served
Hot grits and butter, with eggs and toast served on the plate, then washed down with water
Hair combed and brushed by older Sister so mommy is pleased
Gospel music is blasting on the radio while Praising the Lord Hallelujah with no guilt or shame
Church Service was lit, now it\'s time to be dismissed
Riding home in a Station Wagon full to capacity, don\'t wanna miss this
The teenagers in the seats, with the little ones on their laps buckled up for the ride
Driving home in a hurry with the Pastor on our tail and the family not far behind
Let\'s go inside, sit down for Sunday dinner
