For the toil they put and their zealous venture
Every teacher is a model to say
Some teach you how to care
Others teach you what to spare
With gratitude we remember
The way they ridiculed our slumber
Punishments meted out for our blunders
Science and maths that made us wonder
The doors they opened for us to ponder
The old and the new that took us yonder
Hand in hand they took us up the ranks
To start our life’s with grandeur
