Lord, I do put in you
My trust, me here renew
Let me not ashamed be
But my state now do see
O save me in your righteousness
Make my escape, so I you bless
Incline your ear to me
My prayers hear, troubles see
Be my strong refuge where
You be my rock firm there
My habitation where I may
Resort, your fortress, there I stay
Save me from the wicked
That I not be misled
In their ways, they are cruel
Work unrighteousness all
For you, Lord God, my hope, my trust
From my youth, though I be man, dust
By you Lord I have been
Upheld since birth, have seen
Your keeping hand, I praise
You, and remember days
That from old you have me sustained
Prosperity in you have gained
I be as a wonder
To many, they confer
And marvel at my state
Though it not be mere fate
For you are my refuge, you keep
Me, through life-long still as your sheep
