When god granted us one, with you

Heaven must have been in need of angel
the night your soul left us
one who has your depth of heart

But none shines brighter than you
your soul might be in heaven

the memories
the smiles
and all you left behind
Are intertwined with the fabric of this world
tattooed on the heart of all those that met you
That were lucky enough to meet you
the sky is full of angels
but god knew he needed you
He felt the distance that we down here do now
and though your soul is in heaven
we know you’re now our guardian angel
and I know the angels greeted you at the heavenly gates
Welcoming you with open arms
