A SWEET POISON

A rare feeling clothed in spectacular lining of sensation,

beautiful to behold indeed, compared to no other,

clearly known for all its pure intention

yet sadly blessed with tragedy in all manner.

A feeling inherently too stiff for the world to obviously do without,

molded to effect & impact the one who enjoys the company of its confines,

gifted to give faith and hope to those living in a drought,

yet after all, sadness it defines.

Exists in the eyes of many yet some say it is painful to endure,

but love itself would claim to be an innocent soul for sure.

Like a sweet poison, pains & death come masked in its sweet aroma,

always makes one to live the life of a dilemma.

A feeling known to harbor thieves, for they steal other people\'s hearts,

extremely daring is the feeling, it challenges one\'s guts,

a feeling created to spread merriment, yet a companion of death,

a poison yet through it, mutual bonds a given strength.
