Ocean Child

Himalaya-Kintsugi

Travel, thy is my remedy.
At each blow of life, I packed my bag
Wandered through forests and beaches
Moments to close my eyes and be with serenity
Wild birds taught me the music of earth
Ocean hugged me to its majesty
How wonderful the world is!
Guess life was too jealous of it all
Brain Tumor was a Trainwreck
I was drowning, with my feeble voice
Fallen hair and lost beauty
Little spirit that left back, walked me to office,
with a turban on my head like a proud Punjabi
Books became my comfort
Best word learned was \'Kintsugi\'
Repairing broken with Gold like the Japanese do
A long year with pieces of puzzles.
My hope sprung out like my hair came back
Thirsty to reach the glitter of gold, Himalaya
The humble abode: Himalaya
One destination to never back down
Words are less to write the feeling
Silence of the snow peaks. I was reborn
Ridges bordered with lines of sunshine
Eyes filled with self containment.
How lucky am I to be in the abode of divinity
The mixed feeling like a Sherpa\'s prayer
Ages of humbleness, Oh my mighty saint
How small am I?
Carrying that treasured bliss of momentum
Never fearsome I walked to future
