She had a heart of snow,
That glistened in the light,
Of the smiles she would show,
One that would melt at night,
From conversations she’d hear,
Whispers of sadness,
She couldn\'t keep from her ear,
Her heart was pure kindness,
That much was clear,
As she lit up each room,
Only her laughter you\'d hear,
And although all that gloom,
Seemed a distant spell,
It had often times melted,
Her icy heart’s shell,
With her snow heart effected,
It became a seasonal gift,
But her beauty never wavered,
Despite the ever cold shift,
Rather every second savoured,
For fear of forgetting,
That one of these hearts,
Is not for the letting,
For if she makes you a part,
Of the rarity she holds,
I beg of you please,
Don\'t let her go cold.
