Aakif Anan

The Fool\'s Paradise

Edging close to the passage of Blue moon

For what sends chills down your spine

But I have loved it even more.

Wish I had another day,

To embrace the cold

Should\'ve sought another road,

For what remains forever untold.

If there was solace before

to fill the holes

And kind amore to lift the soul.

Whatever remained drew circles in vain,

I flew so high but was shattered in pain.

I tried to speak in a room full of deafs,

Dreamed the ends

Which I could never mend

So I dived in me to search for gold

Ashes I found was everything I wrote

The nights grew bigger

And your tears weren\'t here

I cried out loud just to find it

Whisper down my throat.

Traveling through closer to the gate

You despise yourself

With pity and disgrace.

I\'m looking down now

To see another once,

Wandering at midway-

Wish I could live another day.
