REMINISCENE

Air covered with its utmost purity,
Trees that mimic the skyscrapers of the city,
Lark Sparrows\' cheeps and churrs to welcome me home- this is my childhood.
My thoughts drifted back,
Where I used to wander in the wildwood.
Then zephyr of summer memories  utter the olden days,
Where Fountain grass filled the braes.
Thus far, I could still taste the perfume of the green grass blending in with the breeze.
I could still hear the sounds and twitters of the birds in the trees.
The musical psithurism that refreshed the afternoon,
It brought me to sleep with its heavenly tune.
Magical happenings transpired just like the sun meets the moon.
However, my heart cries knowing that I have to leave soon.
Time flies way too fast
But the memories I have here will last.
