I went up the holy mountain, I stood right at the top
I wished to clear my mind about the truth
The clouds, they were a floating, the wind, it was howling
Then it stopped and it began to talk to me
You’re a fool, forever running
Chasing what can never be
Just go wandering with the spirit
You will know what means to be
I walked through a grassy meadow on a sunny day in Spring
Mind and heart were debating about love
On a tree there sat a sparrow, seemed to be in pensive mood
Then he turned and it began to sing to me
You cannot think about your feelings
Because your feelings you can’t control
Let your heart be free and true
And then love will come to you
To the beach I went one evening, walking slowly on wet sand
My mind was speculating about time
The waves they kept on rolling with no sense of night or day
They came close and they whispered onto me
Time is just a cosmic circle
Some are dying and some born new
You can fret and you can holler
There is nothing you can do
I trekked through an old forest where the trees reached to the sky
Asking whether there was meaning to my life
In the breeze the fronds were dancing, whispering words I couldn’t fathom
Then a branch bent down and softly said to me
Life is nothing but a gamble
Where the odds you can’t foresee
You are asked to roll the dice
As you imagine to be free
