The Fortress of a Lonely Mind

ACT I Meeting

Black curtains hide the stage

Obscure sounds behind

A fit of rage

The orchestra plays a dirge

Droning a mournful sound

The curtains unfurl revealing one lone sole with anguished features

Pacing, he looks out towards the audience then hides his face.
A white robed figure emerges on stage like a specter
The curtain fall all is quiet

ACT II THE TRAGEDY.

The orchestra plays the music of an angels ballad
Behind the opening curtains we find the white robed figure in an embrace with the solitary man.  Reaching up with a trembling hand the solitary man touches the unseen lips behind the opaque veil. The specter turns breaking the embrace.  All are watching.  The lights turn red the specter now clad in robes of crimson.  The curtain falls with the sounds of smashing glass.

Then silence.
