Lost in my thoughts
I look at the sky
Keeping a pen and a paper
On my thigh
To look for an inspiration
A poem to write.
But all I saw was the barren sky,
Only the dark black clouds racing by,
When suddenly I realised,
That she had passed by.
A wave of thoughts,
An outburst of emotions,
Came suddenly crashing by.
Face so innocent, beauty so divine,
The aura so graceful, so refined,
Eyes so mesmerising, like an ocean, so calm, so purified.
She had no feigns, and I was enchanted by the radiant shine.
Simple as a river,
Yet she had that goddess like smile.
And I wanted to make my heart her shrine.
Blinded by the glory, the breeze woke me up
That was the moment I realised she was not there anymore.
Raising my pen up high,
I looked up at the sky,
That was not empty anymore
It shone as the stars decorated its endless shore.
Looking at my pen that night , I knew why she had passed by.
