Humming while walking down the aisle,
Listening to the silence of the winter.
Among the chilly winds that made me shiver,
I saw a lark flying with its lover.
Waiting for the dawn
To touch the plains
They took shelter in a hut amidst the snowy lanes.
Seeing them together,
Made me remember,
The memories which had slowly withered.
I recollected those memories
How I had been,
Before meeting her, her who is the soul of my poetry.
I had a sanity mind,
I lived with a cheerful smile,
But there was something crawling deep inside ,
Something malevolent, something revolting,
It was a curtain of despair
Soaked with loneliness
Something behind those curtains, it screamed out to me,
That it wanted some love and care.
When they said “someone will come in your life and change you forever”,
I never believed them
Not until she came in my life ,
And changed me completely.
One look at her
Would heal the slashes of my heart,
One smile of hers
Would cure its deepest scar,
I realized I was not alone anymore
I realised that I have grown.
She Inspired me to become a better me
Gave me the strength
Which I had never seen.
Even if she is not here,
Even if we aren\'t together,
But on this planet, she be wherever
I wish her happiness forever.
She made me realise,
People may leave, but memories stay forever.
They asked, how much do you love her?
“Whenever she needs me, I will always be there,
If people try to drown her with negative emotions, I will be her ladder,
If someone ever tries to hurt her, I will become their worst nightmare,
Lying in my grave, if I can\'t remember her,
I will compel the gods in heaven, to portray her picture.
“Would you love her even if you are dying? ”, someone asked
Even if my limbs are cut off
Even if my eyes are gouged out
Even if I\'m crumbled to parts
You will still hear her name
From the beats of my heart.
Phoenix rises from ashes,
And I knew that,
The sun will rise again.
But not until
The tulips, all of them, die and fade.
Coming back to my senses,
I realised that a lot has happened.
The hut which sheltered the larks
Was engulfed in fire.
One of them stood there, as it watched its lover, inside the fire.
It looked up at the sky, through the foggy clouds,
And prayed to God, to save the one for whom it cared,
But the God denied this proposal.
I leapt forward to save them.
I didn\'t want to see another bitter end,
But the lark made its decision, before I could reach there,
It flew inside the fire, held its lover with its feathers,
And I watched from afar, as they both died together.
I looked at the empty sky,
I called out to God, and told him
That this was one of the most brutal denials!
