Today is October 20th
which is your birthday
signifying another year
of your life on this earth.
I didn’t see you for quite some time
years
and I know that the past was unkind
and I am willing to put it behind.
I have forgiveness
and I have acceptance;
I always have kindness
but my existence is quite far.
I hope that there is a meeting
where I am better than I was before
and more treasures,
