by incessant sea.
In my hand
wetly warm one polished pebble
with soothing appeal.
Tidal lands
expose jewel-smooth comfort rocks
that if used can heal.
Granite band
girdling a middle forecasts wealth
to those who believe.
Grateful thanks
due for alchemic fondling stones
waiting on beaches.
