Journey

On a pointless journey

I wonder as we do.

Would the sun shine brighter?

Missing dull, drab days?

Without the wild wet weather.

Back and forth,

 As only we can do.

Affects of beautiful butterflies

Unknown,

As I ponder the purpose,

The ability to do,

As only we can do.

Much time lost,

Traveling,

Back and forth,

As we do.

Bright roads soon become dark,

From simple choices,

Choirs sing teasing songs,

Tales of heroism,

Haunting,

As we do,

As only we can do.

Old roads lost forever,

I ponder the the peaceful life of birds,

Flying free,

Singing songs of flight,

Ignorant of their freedom,

Freedom from wonder,

As I ponder the purpose,

And  do as only

we can do.
