Tune: Margaret
(\'Thou didst leave thy throne\')
Psalm 92 v.1-5 and v.12-15
**********
It isa good thing to give thanks unto
The Lord, we bring praises to you
To your name, O most High
Sensing that you are nigh
And it is to you we ally
Showing forth your loving kindness
And faithfulness, day, night, you bless
Singing with instruments, making joyful sound
So praises to you do redound
For you have made me glad
Through your works, I not sad
All of them they be good, none bad
O Lord, how great sure your works be!
And your thoughts very deep, I see
The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree
Grows like cedars productively
They that are so planted
In the Lord\'s house, good stead
They shall know, shall flourish, be fed
Shall still bring forth fruit in old age
Or whatever their life\'s stage
This shall show that the Lord He is upright
Does what is pleasing in His sight
He is my rock firm here
I shall stand and not fear
And it is to Him I draw near
In Him no unrighteousness be
I come and worship Him freely
