To walk by moonlight and cast a shadow

To walk by moonlight with a sprinkling of stars

The silence is deafening

The stillness profound

A morning so sublime

It takes my breath away

I move within its aura

And I know that it is transient

For as the sun rises higher in the sky

It will melt away the dreamscape

And I will be brought back to reality

For this brief encounter

I give abundant thanks

That I am in this place at this time

That I may bear witness to something
