Twisted Fantasy

I was welcomed to your twisted fantasy

You throne me as your only Queen

Little did I know what was about to happen

I was going to be trapped in your isolated prison

You adored me for the things you love

For my body and my hour glass curves

You asked for diamonds

And left me with dimes

Why you are not accounted for your cruel crimes

I used to run to you with spark in my eyes

Wanted to show you what poetries I write

The poetries I wrote with you in my thoughts

Though you only cared for the things you love the most

I was just an enabler, enabling your dreams

You forgot I was a person holding-in the screams

I thought I could change you by helping you enough

But you never saw me as a diamond in the rough

I was nothing but a trophy-wife

You masked yourself, creeping from your disguise

You showed me to the world with so much pride

While I only knew what happens behind

You pretended to love me while you stole my show

It was not your twisted fantasy but a brutal joke.
