Moonsight

Mary my Madonna, Mary the whore

  1. As she walks at night through the city, every breath she takes is oh, so soulless and empty-
  1. She seeks shelter from the world and yet when I offer it, all she does is reject me
  1. The shame she feels causes her to know deep down that she’s sorrowful and she feels this emotion plenty
  1. Mary my love, why do you always flee?
  1. Her smile so holy, her smile so pure
  1. Her constant fleetingness is worth having to endure
  1. Her smooth and pale face reflects the moonlight
  1. I love Mary, even when there seems to be no hope for us in sight
  1. Mary feels no guilt unless she’s caught red-handed,
  1. She always comes back when she feels she is lost, when she feels she is hopeless, and when she feels she is left stranded
  1. Those lush and pretty, pink lips serve to spout lies
  1. Her fresh-faced kiss is only a part of her façade and disguise
  1. She smiles like a saint after everything she’s done
  1. Everyone wants to screw Mary because they believe her to be as chaste as a nun
  1. Her life has no consequences, and she is always in pursuit of attaining the fleeting feeling of fun
  1. I wish her cold and heartless actions could somehow be undone...
  1. Because Mary’s heavenly gaze makes me melt each time
  1. God, I love her so much that I can hear the chorus of angels, and I can hear our wedding bells chime
  1. I was truly alive when I met her, not from the moment of my birth
  1. Mary makes life feel as if heaven existed on earth
  1. Mary, Mary, Mary
  1. Why won’t she marry, marry, marry me
  1. Mary could make a wonderful mother,
  1. Mary is an angelic girl like no other,
  1. I pray I could make her coffee in mornings and when she’s feeling ill, I pray I can make her herbal tea
  1. Instead, Mary chooses to escape me by indulging in beer and drinking wine,
  1. She’ll fuck forty guys and swear to God that she’s alright and that she’s feeling fine,
  1. Sometimes I think she’ll never change; she will always be a whore and I hate her
  1. Another moment she becomes my salvation and all the memories of betrayal and love begin to mix and blur
  1. Mary the saint, Mary the sinner
  1. My hope for our love is only getting slimmer
  1. Mary is my Madonna, but Mary is truly a whore
  1. The truth is I hate Mary because she’s always gone out the door
  1. Mary has the face of an angel
  1. Mary has the voice of one too
  1. Mary is incredibly baneful
  1. Mary will be hell’s finest view
