I\'m slipping and falling
On this brick path that I walk
The lane out of nowhere
This lane of my thoughts
The path was once stable
Secure, I would\'ve thought
Sought for in escape
Escaped, I have not
Strong and stable
It lead me through troubles
A reliant companion
Withstood all of the hurdles
Yet piece by piece
as time moved on
Bits broke off
The road got worn
Worned out by the burden
The road lost weight
Supporting me less
Getting slim round the waist
Sickend by sorrows
And it\'s intention to help
His limited form
It leaves him wrecked
In years of his service
The walker forgot
To tend care to the road
The road of his thoughts
